Also captured in a Context Camera image, the objective of this observation is to examine a beautiful view of many layers in a valley wall near Auqakuh Vallis.

Above the valley there are other layers that are also visible. Auqakuh Vallis is an ancient river valley and is the word for Mars in Quechua, a main language family of the Inca Empire, whose variants are still spoken today.
