Dark Light

The objective of this image is a closer look at an extremely eroded impact crater in Utopia Planitia. The crater, about 841 meters (half a mile) across, seems to have an excess of ejecta as compared to the size of its bowl. Of additional interest are the nature of the cracks that we can clearly see in the ejecta.
