Dark Light
Our objective is to learn more about some of the layers here in the 415-kilometer diameter Cassini Crater.

Cassini is located in the Arabia Terra region of Mars, which contains outcrops of layers in many locations and environments. Some of the layers in this image seem thicker than some others in Arabia, but others are quite thin, so even with a Context Camera image, differences can be noted.
